ナズ『イルマティック』がリリースから20年…… ~Solid Steel Radio Show 25/4/2014 Part 1 + 2 - DJ Moneyshot~

このブログでドイツ・ベルリンのビートピートというDJのミックスを“すばらしい、かっこいい”と絶賛しています。それに負けず劣らず、すばらしいミックスをアップしているのが、イギリス・ブリストルのDJであるDJマネーショットです。つい最近アップされたこのミックスもかっこいい。無料でダウンロードできます。

DJマネーショットはこれまでにパブリック・エネミーやビースティ・ボーイズなどの曲を中心に取り上げたミックス（いわゆるトリビュート・ミックスというもの）をアップしています。そして今回取り上げているのはナズです。2014年はナズの名作『イルマティック』がリリースされてからちょうど20年にあたる年であるということから、『イルマティック』のトリビュート・ミックスとして制作されたミックスです。

ナズの曲だけではなく、元ネタやナズのインタビューの音声なども使っているようです。トラックリストを見ると、わりと緻密に作っていそうなのだけど、音そのものは程よくアグレッシヴ。猥雑なエネルギーみたいなものが溢れんばかりに詰め込まれていて、そういうところがかっこいいですね。路上のすなぼこりをかぶったような音が聴こえる。
